This is adjacent to Fairborn Community Park but uses the entrance off of Meadowlands Dr, which runs off of Garland Ave just north of I-675.  Meet at the sidewalk between 1503 and 1515 Meadowlands Dr.  There is plenty of parking on the street.

Honeysuckle Hacking at Garland Reserve

B-W Greenway is presenting this event in collaboration with Fairborn Community Library.

Please REGISTER at https://greenelibrary.bibliocommons.com/events/686edc2c709d27410030c07e so we know how many to expect! 

Meet at Garland Wetland Reserve, 1271 Commerce Center Blvd, Fairborn, OH.

Bring your friends! Hack Honeysuckle, learn about invasives and receive a Wild Mustard Recipe Booklet!

Tools will be provided, but if you have your own, feel free to bring loppers, handsaw or reciprocating saw.

Weather appropriate clothes, gloves, sunscreen, bug repellent, refillable water bottle and sturdy hiking or work boots would also be helpful. 

Come learn about the benefits of removing invasive plants and see B-W Greenway in action, preserving and restoring natural habitats.

"Management of Rare Plant Habitats in Ohio" B-W Greenway’s 27th Annual Meeting

Fairborn Senior Center, 325 N. Third St. Fairborn, OH 45324. Join us for a fun, informative evening including Jennifer Windus’ presentation, Green Heart Award, State of the Trust, songs, comradery and refreshments.

Jennifer is currently the Vice President of the Ohio Natural Areas & Preserves Association (ONAPA).  She coordinates ONAPA's stewardship program which conducts habitat management in natural areas throughout Ohio.

She worked for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (Natural Areas & Preserves and Wildlife) for 31 years, retiring in 2014.  In both divisions, she worked with land management, invasive species, and rare species on nature preserves and wildlife areas.  She is also the President of the Ohio Invasive Plants Council.
